     Hey everyone. I’ll try to write a blog during my adventures in New Zealand. No guarantees.  I’ll probably end up forgeting after a couple weeks, but here goes nothing. 

     First off let me say why I wanted to do this trip.  Right now, I’ve been living with my dad, which has its advantages, but I had the feeling that I should get a job and move out soon, Something I actually was looking forward to.  Moving out means getting a steady job, an apartment, and that in itself means bills and comitments. Having a job might mean I’ll meet a girl, fall in love and move in with her, and then life starts. Why am I writing this as if its all so bad? In fact, I don’t think all the inevitable things mentioned above are bad, I’d love if all of those happened. The thing is, not now. If all of that was to happen, I wouldn’t be able to travel because of all the comitments. This is the perfect time in my life to try out this adventure, and who knows where it’ll lead me. I just know that if I don’t do it now, the chain of life (as mentioned above) will start and then I’ll never do it.

     So I registered with SWAP, which is a program with work/travel overseas. I’m leaving tuesday sept. 18th, and will arrive in Auckland on the 20th. I hope to meet lots of like-minded travelers and explore this beautiful country with them. 

I’ll be staying for two days at the Auckland Central Backpackers (paid by SWAP) and then probably a couple more nights until I find a job.  I actually have an interview already friday the 21st.  It’s a customer service job for a company in auckland. I hope I do well   I’ll probably take it easy the first couple of weeks, and explore the north island a bit. My plan is vague right now, but I definately want to head to the south island and check out christchurch, and go even more south to do some tramping in the mountains.  I really want to do the Milford Track.  It’s rated as one of the best walks in the world.

Anywas that’s it for now. As I said, no promises but I’ll try to update this as often as time allows me to.

     Salut tout le monde.  Je vais essayer d’écrire un blog durant mon aventure en Nouvelle-Zélande. Pas de garanties par conte. Je vais surment finir par oublier après quelque semaines, mais on verra…

     Premièrement, laissez-moi vous dire pourquoi j’ai voulu faire ce voyage. Présentement, j’habite chez mes parents, et ça a ses aventages, mais je sentais que bientôt, de devais me trouver un emploi (après Digi-photo), un apartement, ce qui en retour veut dire des comptes a payer et des engagements.  Avoir un emplois pourrais même dire que je rencontre une fille, tombe en amour, enménager ensemble, et là la vie commence. Pourquoi j’écris ça comme si ça serait la fin du monde? En fait, je ne crois pas que toutes les choses inévitables mentionés ci-haut sont si terribles que ça, j’adorais qu’elles se produisent.  Mais pas maintenant.  Si tout cela arrivait, je ne pourrais pas faire mon voyage à cause de tout les engagements. Maintenant est le momment idéale dans ma vie pour faire ce genre d’aventure, et qui sait ou elle me mènera.  Tout ce que je sais, c’est que si je ne le fais pas aujourd’hui, je ne le ferais jamais.

      Alors je me suis enregistré dans le programme SWAP, qui est un programme de travail/voyages à l’étranger.  Mon départ est mardi le 18, et je vais arriver à Auckland le 20.  J’espère rencontrer plein d’autres voyageurs pour pouvoir explorer ce beau pays.

     Pour deux jours, je vais rester au Auckland Central Backpackers au frais de SWAP, et surement quelques autres nuits avant de me trouver un emploi.  J’ai même déja une entrevue d’emploi vendredi le 21.  C’est un poste de service à la clientèle pour une compagnie à Auckland.  J’espère que ça va bien se passer.  Je vais prendre ça relax les premières semaines, et explorer l’ile du nord un peu.  Mon plan est vague présentement, mais c’est sur que je veux aller à l’ile sud aussi pour voir Christchurch, et encore plus au sud pour faire de la rendonnée dans les montagnes, comme le Milford Track.  Cette rendonnée est classée comme l’une des plus belle au monde.

     En tout cas, c’est tout pour ce soir.  Comme J’ai dit plus tôt, aucune promesses sur la fréquence du blog, mais je vais essayer de le mettre à jour autant que le temps me le permet.
